Lesson 3 Summary

Choosing a niche is the first step to building a high converting income generating campaign. You are about to learn exactly how to find a niche, or shall I say niches...

Lesson 3

Picking a niche...actually, a HOBBY!

If you are not having fun doing something and you don’t get excited about the niche you are promoting, then it will be much harder to achieve success.

I know this goes against the conventional "job" criteria that people can typically relate to, but earning a living online should be fun. When you are having fun, your potential for success goes up 10 fold!

So how do you have fun?

The first thing that I suggest to you is choosing a niche that you are interested in. People tend to worry so much about having the perfect niche (or the most profitable one), when the reality of success online roots from your passion towards what you are doing.

If you hate sports, why would you try to promote sports online...because someone tells you it is hot? Knitting or Scrap booking or Flying Kites may be more your cup of tea. Maybe you like baseball, college basketball. Maybe you like everything about dieting and weight loss. Maybe you like shoes? Maybe you like collecting bugs. Maybe you like surfing.

Heck, “smoking” is a niche. Stopping this bad habit is also a niche!

So your step today is to write down 3 niches/industries that you are interested in and that you would enjoy writing about. In other words, what are your hobbies.

I am interested in #1: _________________
I am interested in #2: _________________
I am interested in #3: _________________

I will give you a second before I move on here, so grab a pen and paper right now and WRITE THESE down. This will be your starting point for implementing the Mad Marketing Method (MMM)!

If you are still banging your head against the wall at this point, go to DMOZ.org. There are literally 10,000’s of niches there for you to look through.

Remember, you can always change a niche if you get sick of it or you simply can’t make a go with it, so this is not “your last attempt”. In fact, it should be exciting and help you realized the massive amounts of ideas and opportunities there are out there.
